This song has been bouncing around in my mind for the last couple years. It first appeared as a riff on a standard tuned guitar. It just wasn't doing it for me there, so I tried on a Baritone tuned to Double Drop A. And there it was, the rest of the song kind of wrote itself.

Anomaly - by P.N. Neville

Stirring Stretching Sleepy Arms
Awakened by those thought alarms
The same old voices seem to say….

Everything you think you know is wrong
These feelings creeping from beyond
They try to take away my faith
That I can be with you someday

And I can, but I need your love
I need your love
More than I can ever say

So I’ll feed what’s inside of me
This anomaly

Breaking, flailing, crashing, falling
The phone is ringing off the wall
Another former self that’s calling….
But I don’t know this one at all

And you may search to find the answers
Before I drive all you insane
If I want to feel myself against her
I’ll have to find my will again

And I can, but I need your love
I need your love
More than I can ever say

So I’ll feed what’s inside of me
This anomaly......This anomaly

I can, and I need your love
I need your love
More than I can ever say

So I feed what’s inside of me
This anomaly......This anomaly
