Song: Favorite Dream

Overall Impression:
Mixing elements of Folk, Country, and Bluegrass together with a mature songwriting style, "Favorite Dream" is a masterclass in strong performances, clever arrangement, and melody that boasts an incredible amount of heart and soul. Balls Capone clearly knows their craft extremely well and is undoubtedly fully aware of the individual intricacies and nuances of the many genres that form the basis of the track, this was a truly great listening experience, and I look forward to hearing more from this artist in the future, excellent!

Strongest Point(s):
Beginning with the undoubtedly strong combo of banjo and acoustic guitar, we're instantly thrust into the world of country, and its marvelous, the quintessential twang of the banjo is nicely complemented with the percussive elements provided by the acoustic guitars and both of these elements help to successfully lay the tonal foundation of the track perfectly. The lead vocals are particularly strong and fit the style of the track exceptionally well, understated and mellow in character, they express the lyrics with both gusto and great conviction, the addition of backing vocals strengthens the lead vocals very well and add interesting textural elements to the track as well as providing great variety in timbre, they really make the chorus, and what a chorus it is, catchy, melodic and powerful in its execution.

Area(s) of Improvement:
There is slight distortion creeping in at places, mainly in the vocal track, examples can be heard in 2:12 and 4:10, it's subtle but there, it's definitely worth going through the track diligently to double-check levels to ensure no distortion is occurring, as it detracts from the overall great quality of the recording.

Target Audience Appeal:
This will appeal to a variety of different country lovers and targeting the country and the associated subgenres that are most closely aligned to this particular track is certainly the way to go, such as Bluegrass.

Artist target suggestions:
The Travelin McCoureys, The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Erath, Black Pistol Fire, Sam Bush, Greensky Bluegrass, Billy Strings, Pierce Edens, The Rubber Knife Gang, Trampled By Turtles, The Moonshine Rooster Band
